Our Residency Program

We run a Residency Program for artists, writers and environmentalists in our 'hermitage' at NPS Mount Bruce, New Zealand and also at the Pacific Writers' Cottage, Vallejo, Ca. One of the oldest houses in Vallejo, this charming relocated 1850s cottage, once on Rancho Suscol, was first occupied by engraver Lucien Curtis and has been home to many Mare Island skilled craftsmen including a sail maker, a machinist, and a carriage builder.

 

International Schools Programs

Birds in North and South is our biennial art and writing competition.

 

Short Retreats

(At Kaiparoro Historic House, pictured to the left). 3-5 days. Summers only (Nov.-April). Open to all. Bring your own computer. Fine library.
